Found this while surfing the net and wondered if any one had been as it's local.

Hi Rob - I don't personally know any divers who have actually been to this 'underground' dive site. Obviously, it is classed as an overhead environment, since it is an enclosed space underground and in total darkness - which perhaps doesn't quite appeal to everyone.

I'm sure that it may be quite a novel experience - although at only 2 metres deep, the same effect can be acheived in the swimming pool with the lights switched off! ..... and you can safely return to the surface without feeling enclosed.

However, don't let this discourage you.

If there are enough divers interested, we may be able to run a trip to Stoke on Trent - for something a bit different. As they say ... 'test the water' to see if there is any interest out there.

I'd be up for that. Looks different.
