The PADI system uses the term 'Advanced Open Water Diver' - which shouldn't be confused with the BSAC Advanced Diver grade (which is a much more higher level).

The PADI manual is entitled 'Adventures In Diving' - as opposed to Advanced Diver (which of course it isn't)

The term can be slightly confusing, but it relates to Open Water Divers whom are slightly more advanced in that they have increased their depth limit from 18m to 30m and completed additional skills on several Adventure Dives. They are NOT Advanced Divers - but have advanced (or rather developed) their diving skills and gained more additional experience.

Don't forget: it's Advanced Open Water Diver - not Advanced Diver!

Now to other more serious matters;

We are all different and his or her resemblance to a Russian shot putter doesn't detract from the fact that Jessie has the makings of an excellent Dive Professional - he/she just needs to sort out those fashion accessories and the issues relating to the ginger bogey man! affraid

I have arranged counselling for the poor mite with regards to issues over gender and this fixation with the ginger bogeyman. Sessions start this weekend in the pub.

drunken

I wonder if the shemale also hears voices. I am told it is quite common in John Smith's/baby sham drinkers after about a dozen pints. It all adds to the confusion I guess.

Yes, you are quite right.

Part of the treatment programme should now be to include real ale

Women Divers!!!!

Post  Tazza n Gonads on Sun Mar 30, 2008 11:00 am

After logging on this shining Sunday morning,sunny thinking how wonderful life is, came across the uncalled for comments regarding Women Divers. Sleep

Its true, we tend to hate the cold and avoid diving until the temperature rises a little. But, I believe the best comes to those who wait. And for those who have patiently waited instead of as I reiterate my colleague diver 'diving in puddles' to the point where they are unable to remember their names and question whether they are fully in tact- yes the warmer weather means we're back and it's our time, so move aside fellas. Exclamation

I actually took Jessie and Scubaman diving yesterday...they would both have neshed out without me to spurr them on!

In all seriousness, it was cold but it was quite enjoyable and I even finally managed to get a compliment about my diving from the Big Girls Blouse!

Us girlies are good divers..and my next dive is my 50th since i qualified in May last year...who would of thought it eh!
