Snorkelling Buddies

Post  Rick Stevens on Tue Feb 19, 2008 1:11 pm

Hey - nice one Mark, it's about time there was a resource for us snorkellers in the area.

Is it worth having a sticky post for snorkelling buddies?

also any snorkellers in the yorkshire areas that are looking for a BSAC club - have a look at www.east4adventure.org.uk/snorkel

Snorkelling

Hi Barry

Thanks for the invite but Worksop/Retford is a bit far for me on a regular basis.

I did a try dive in Turkey last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, think I'll stick to snorkelling for the time being though.

Similarly, if you fancy snorkelling with us, we train on a Friday night in Thorne, new members are alwas welcome

Hi Rick, nice to see your enthusiasm for getting people actively involved in snorkelling.

Although we tend to predominently offer PADI courses at Frog Squad - we can also deliver BSAC training and have a number of BSAC Instructors! Anyone interested in BSAC training can do it through Frog Squad, without having to venture further afield.

Please continue to post details of any trips and information regarding snorkelling events where Frog Squad members can join in. Equally, we welcome divers and snorkellers from other clubs to attend our social events and go on dive trips/holidays etc. Let's work together and keep diving - regardless of the training agency concerned!

I absolutely agree Mr Frog - we should all be one big happy family. It doesnt matter what club you are a member of - we all do the same things at the end of the day - pooling resources sounds a great idea - I'll make our members aware of the trips etc you are planning, I think you might be a bit out of the way for most of us from a social perspetive, most of our members live in Goole.

Thanks for all of your assistance

Rick
