Big Rob, we all seek to develop our diving skills and also to aquire a taste for superior beverages - this is simply part of your professional development as a dive educator. The process involves weening you off the chemical 'pop' that unfortunately graces most public houses and ensuring that you are exposed to the wonders of proper beer! May I suggest a visit to Acorn brewery and exposure to Frog Hop on 17th April, as an excellent introduction to 'Technical Drinking'!

Post  BigRob on Sun Mar 09, 2008 5:24 pm

may i take this opportunity to sugest a few things that would probably improve the acorn brewery like a fire ...flood or some other premises wrecking disaster that would stop the distribution of this god awfull mind wrecking yukky stuff i suppose were not to far away from folk singing tuesday nights in the galway arms or skittles and dare i say morris dancing ,.....nooooooooooooo.......we need to move on embrace a more sophis
ticated technically tasting beer and resign real ale to were it belongs down the drain of history ........................morris dancing probably suit you y great ginger wazzack ........

Thanks Big Rob, I take it that you are happy to stick with your "Tom Jones" jacket and no longer require a Val Doonican jumper as part of your intro to Real Ale. I undertand your concerns about the fact that you may actually taste something and also the anxiety of feeling unable to cope with real beer - in any event, it may be a little too STRONG for you. It really all comes down to the fact that roughty toughty divers drink real ale .... but Big Girls Blouses (aka Jessie) stick to 'pop'

(PS - I'll buy you a Snowball on Tuesday night!) flower

Thanks Tony - that will suit the Big Jessie down to the ground. Have you seen his comments regarding female divers under the "General" section? Perhaps you can point him in the direction of a nice nail boutique!

real ale in diva's sorry diving

Post  ToeKnee on Mon Mar 10, 2008 8:14 pm

Got a mate who works down the Builders Center, could maybe help him out.
Not much of a boutique though. Prap's he just better off sticking to gastro beer,
leaving the men's beer to the men ! Wink

Ah ... so you admit that you can't even cope with a teaspoon of real ale. Who is the real Jessie?

My point exactly!

This simply never happens if you stick to real ale ... much safer - like the hair though!
